Terms of Service

The rules that govern the use of our online store and the relationship of trust between us. (Greek version is legally binding — this English page is for reference only.)

1. General – Introduction

This website bloominbox.gr (hereinafter the "Site" or "Online Store") is the online store of the business under the name [BUSINESS NAME], VAT no. [VAT NO.], Tax Office [TAX OFFICE], registered at [ADDRESS], Kastoria (hereinafter "Bloom in Box" or the "Company").

Bloom in Box designs and sells handmade soy candles, jewellery and gifts. These Terms of Service govern the relationship between the Company and any user or visitor to the Site.

Use of the Site implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of the terms below, please do not use our Site.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms of Service, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

  • "Site": The website bloominbox.gr and all its sub-pages, through which the Bloom in Box online store operates.
  • "User" / "Visitor": Any natural or legal person who visits, browses or uses the Site, regardless of whether they make a purchase.
  • "Customer": Any user who completes an order through the Online Store.
  • "Products": The handmade soy candles, jewellery, gifts and any other items offered for sale through the Site.
  • "Order": The online purchase request submitted by the Customer through the Site.

3. Use of the Website

3.1 User Obligations

The user undertakes to use the Site in accordance with the law, good morals and these Terms of Service. In particular, the user must:

  • Provide true, accurate and complete information when registering or placing an order.
  • Not to use the Site for illegal or non-contractual purposes.
  • Keep their account access details confidential (if an account has been created).
  • Notify the Company immediately in the event of unauthorised use of their account.

3.2 Prohibited Uses

The following are expressly prohibited:

  • Copying, reproducing, modifying or distributing any content of the Site without prior written consent.
  • Using automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or collect data from the Site.
  • Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware or any material that may damage the operation of the Site.
  • Attempting unauthorised access to the Company's systems, networks or data.
  • Using the Site to send unsolicited messages (spam).

4. Products & Prices

4.1 Accuracy of Information

Bloom in Box makes every reasonable effort to ensure that the information provided on the Site about the products (descriptions, photos, prices, availability) is accurate and up to date. However, we do not guarantee that this information is always complete or free from errors.

Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in colour, size or texture may occur between pieces. These variations are part of the uniqueness of each creation and are not considered defects.

4.2 Prices

All listed prices are in Euros (€) and include the applicable VAT. Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are calculated separately during checkout.

4.3 Right to Modify

The Company reserves the right to modify product prices, descriptions and availability at any time, without prior notice. Any changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

5. Orders & Payments

5.1 Order Process

To complete an order, the customer:

  1. Selects the desired products and adds them to the shopping cart.
  2. Reviews the cart contents and proceeds to Checkout.
  3. Fills in the required shipping and billing details.
  4. Selects the shipping and payment method.
  5. Accepts these Terms of Service.
  6. Completes the order.

Submitting an order constitutes a purchase offer by the customer. The sales contract is considered concluded only after the Company sends a confirmation email.

5.2 Payment Methods

Bloom in Box accepts the following payment methods:

  • Credit / Debit card (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Cash on delivery (with extra charge)
  • Bank deposit / Transfer
  • PayPal (where available)

Electronic payments are processed in a secure environment with SSL encryption. The Company does not store or process payment card data.

5.3 Order Confirmation

After the order is completed, the customer receives an automated confirmation email with the order details. The Company reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of inability to fulfil it, pricing error or stock depletion, notifying the customer accordingly.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Details on shipping methods, delivery times, shipping costs and serviced regions are described in detail in our Shipping Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Service.

Bloom in Box undertakes to ship products within the timeframe stated in the Shipping Policy; however, we are not liable for delays caused by force majeure or third-party carrier failures.

7. Returns & Withdrawal

The customer has the right to withdraw without giving any reason within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt of the product, in accordance with Law 2251/1994 and Directive 2011/83/EU.

The detailed terms and procedure for returns, exchanges and withdrawal are described in our Returns Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content of the Site, including but not limited to: texts, graphics, photos, images, designs, logos, trademarks, product names, videos and any other material, is the intellectual property of Bloom in Box and/or its lawful right-holders and is protected by the applicable provisions of Greek, European and international intellectual property law.

Copying, reproducing, republishing, modifying, transmitting, distributing or otherwise using the content, in whole or in part, without prior written consent of the Company is expressly prohibited.

The display of content on the Site does not in any way constitute a transfer or assignment of intellectual property rights to the user.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bloom in Box makes every reasonable effort to ensure the Site operates without interruption or errors. However, the Company does not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

The Company is not liable for:

  • Any damage (direct, indirect, consequential or incidental) arising from use or inability to use the Site.
  • Loss of data or profit related to the use of the Site.
  • Any damage from viruses or malware that may affect the user's equipment due to use of the Site.
  • The content and services of third-party sites that the Site may link to.
  • Delays or failures due to force majeure.

In any case, the total liability of the Company cannot exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific order.

10. Personal Data

Bloom in Box takes the protection of users' personal data seriously. The collection, processing and use of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable Greek law.

11. Applicable Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with Greek law, including the relevant provisions of European law on e-commerce and consumer protection.

In the event of any dispute arising from use of the Site or in connection with these Terms, the Courts of Kastoria shall have jurisdiction.

Before resorting to the courts, the Company encourages customers to contact us for amicable resolution of any dispute. In addition, consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

12. Modification of Terms

Bloom in Box reserves the right to modify, renew or revise these Terms of Service at any time, without prior notice. Any modifications will be posted on the Site and take effect from the moment of publication.

The date of last update is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

In the event of material changes, the Company will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users via email or via a notice on the Site.
